In short: Took an age to get to but well worth the journey - good day out, well organised and greatly scenic. Very thankful also for the two water stops on a VERY hot day. Note that the runners were exposed to the sun for 90% of the race!!! Thanks again.

In short: A new little 'cracker'!
In full: A new run put on by a new running club (the Allendale Striders) based in the village of Allendale. Splendid organisation. It's a tough course but wonderfully scenic - England's last wilderness. Come on up you southerners and see what England is really like! I think this run might get bigger and bigger - and there's a traditional village fair to boot! Well done all!!
