In short: chip timeing let down In full: felt let down by the chip timeing.they do not tell you this but unless you are on the start line with elite forget about the so called chip timeing see results.on a pos side its still a good race.
In short: Friendly race in lovely scenery In full: Well organised and marshaled. Quite a small field so great if you don't like pressure. Lovely route, what sunday runs should be. Date of review: June 27, 2010
In short: Brilliant, really enjoyed it, will be back next year In full: Excellent race, good marshalling. Loved the route and the atmosphere at everyone gathered in the market place. Surprised not more runners, but in a way, it made it better x Date of review: June 13, 2010
In short: In the words of Saint Delia or Scooby Doo...." Where are you"!!!! In full: Very surprised by the lack of people in this race as it was excellent!!! Good on the day orgaisation, marshall directing people to car park, friendly helpers in the hall. I liked the start, with everyone gathering in the market square, chatting and clapping off the wheelchair competitor. Then a pleasant run through the Norfolk countryside. It was well marshalled, good number of drinks stations etc. Big thank you to the marshalls for giving up their day. If I had one slight moan Id have preferrd a t shirt to a medal but well done Wymondham AC again!!!! Date of review: June 13, 2010
In full: A fairly scenic course course which was well marshalled. The only disappointment is the distance between the facilities and the start which I think unfortunately puts some runners off entering the race. Date of review: June 16, 2009
In short: Lovely one lap through scenic villages In full: First time for me for this race. Surprised at how few runners were doing it - may have had something to do with the heat though. A couple of undulations - nothing too bad, nice shady bits with a breeze, friendly marshals and scrummy cake at the end, in the posh HQ. Didn't mind the 20 min walk to/from start line, but it might have been a different story if it had been raining. Will be back. Well done WAC. Date of review: June 16, 2009
In short: Good cakes! In full: Race centre was superb and significantly better than the standard school / village hall (plus the cakes afterwards were amazing).
The course definitely wasn't flat with a few nasty rolling slopes to tackle. Although the worst part was having to turn down a side road for 80m (ish) round a traffic cone and then back to the main road. Having to practically stop at this point in race and get going again was a nightmare!
I don't consider this to be a pb course but good organisation and still a race worth doing. Date of review: June 16, 2009
In short: Great race, well organised and a fast course (even in the heat!) In full: Really enjoyed this - surprised the turnout was low though, but the heat may have had something to do with that. But the course had a lot of shade throughout and a nice breeze. Good organisation - especially laying on the extra loos at the start! Didn't mind the distance to the start - nice warm up/cool down. Will definitely be back again next year. Date of review: June 16, 2009
