In short: First race
In full: This was may first ever race that was not in the "Great Run" league size wise, and now I know what to expect in terms of hills I shall look froward to doing it next year. Who knows I may even do others.

In short: Challenging but fair course.
In full: Good race. Start could do with some segregation by projected finish time to help ease the congestion.

In short: A great race. Quick first 5K. Brutal on return part of course. Big hill at 8k - kills your calf muscle. A good race for beginners like myself

In short: very fast start, very hot and hilly, superb organisation
In full: Really nice venue for the start and finish
Fast start with high level of club runners unfortunately got caught up in the initial enthusiasm and suffered later in the race. However great support from other runners and pleased with time . Well done to WADAC excellent marshalls and loved the fruit and drinks at the end.
If you want a scenic challenging 10K on a summers morning then this is it.

In short: Fantastic race but not a suitable HRRL event
In full: We had a great family day out - the village fete feel to the start/finish area is special, and father / son took part in the 10k / 1k respectively and had a fantastic day, supported by other family members. This is truly a superb event.

I have to say though, that it is too late in the year for a long HRRL event (as is Alton) and anything over 5k in this heat is just brutal. We are, after all, at leat 6 weeks into track season.

But in this day and age of disappearing road races, WADAC have got this event just right - well done.
