In short: A lot to take away and learn from for next year.

In short: Joke! a series of school boy errors, total waste of a sunday morning
In full: What more can I say, I think an official apology is in order and all runners should be peronally invited back next year free to enter. I don't know what Goole viking runners where doing organisation wise. I can't believe a running club would be so bad. In fact I'd say the race was un-safe for the runners.

In short: Dissorganised and chaotic
In full: Missing signs, lack of marshalls, people stood in the path of the runners when we were coming in for a sprint finish.

In short: What was that all about? Very confusing
In full: Me and my partner did this event and between us we must have done 10k, but I think one of us must have done 6k and the other probably did 4k. Bits of the route were done twice and some not done at all. We were pleased most other people got it wrong because we were wondering if we were just stupid!! Either more marshalls required on the off-road section, or just simplify the route. Maybe a route map could be sent out with race numbers next time? We did feel a little sorry for the organisers and hope they will hold the event again with a few changes because they obviously put a lot of hard work in trying to get it right. Better luck next time.

In short: Shambles, shambles, shambles
In full: Well that's a first. We all got lost. The organisers claim someone had moved a marker but in any event there was a marshal missing at a crucial junction. The result? The group I was in did two loops around a marsh and ended up at the back of the field. We found our way back to the start where others joined us from all directions. The organisers looked perplexed as did some of the runners who must have worked out how to get back on track only to finish as a good number of us walked back to the cars in a foul mood. What should have been a good event turned out to be a complete shambles. Not one for the diary next year.
