In short: An excellent race for all abilities
In full: I was pleasantly surprised with this race. I did not know what to expect when I cycled up from South London to the Lee Valley. What I found was great organisation, a pretty run widing along paths through the marsh land, space to run, chip timing, a fast course (I got a PB) and lots of happy marshals.

A really great race.

In short: Peaceful, scenic, flat, well organised.
In full: This was a fast, flat course (season's best - thank you!) and the organisation was faultless. Loads of marshalls all over the course and most were very encouraging (especially the 2 kids at about 7K). There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the route was extremely peaceful (shame some runners still want to drown out the peace or chance of a conversation by wearing iPods but that is no fault of the organisers). The steel band brightened up a dreary day and my post race bacon butty was perfect. could you put a postcode on the website for my sat nav next year though? Well done, great race.

In short: Excellent course & good value
In full: The course winds around the Lee Valley park around Cheshunt / Waltham Abbey. Almost completely flat, one nice bridge over the lock at about 5k but nothing major.
T shirt is nice, would be good to get a medal as well!

In short: Great course and well organised
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the event. My first 10k in quite a while and my girlfriends 1st (I think she enjoyed it as she's still talking to me). The event isn't over subscribed (which is a bonus) and plenty of room to stretch your legs so theres PB potential.
Very hard to fault. Cheap to enter and very well organised. Scenic course and good atmosphere. Was warm but not too bad. Thanks to all the Lee Valley Park volunteers!
