In short: Superb race. Brilliant atmosphere.
In full: What a fantastic job by all concerned. Well done GYRR. What a great course. Definitely one for the future.

On the subject of ipods and MP3s. I say don't ban them but make it clear to the wearer that they are responsible in case of accident. I used to wear one but found it became tiresome at the Nottingham marathon. Haven't worn one since and strangely enough have been able to concentrate better on my running. Not to mention talking to others.

In short: Hats off to GYRR!
In full: This race really must have taken some organising, as it threaded through the centre of Great Yarmouth as well as along the seafront. Start and Finish in the main town square, with bands playing and all the works. Hats off to the folk who organised all this! There was very good support and excellent marshalling despite the awful weather. Well done GYRR. (And I approve of the i-pod ban!)

In short: Bit wet this time but flat course. The Prom part was great!
In full: A changing area would have been great especially considering the weather. The ban of Ipods was very annoying. Im a grown up I can decide whether I can run with music and I don't have it up so loud that I cant have a conversation or hear a marshall! We should be warned that the we are liable should there be any music related incidents. Also what happens if a person is hard of hearing or deaf? Can they not run at all?
Rant over, the unique medals were a lovely touch.
