In short: Nice 10K, fairly flat and well organised.
In full: First time at this 10K. Seemed well organised and well marshalled throughout.

Scenery is reasonably nice, and at least makes a difference from the usual cityscape.

In short: Nice to get away from the urban 'sprawl'!
In full: Apart from the GSK factory (although they do support the organising club which is good to see) the route leads through country lanes, through a small housing estate, the out into the scenic countryside before looping back. Well signed route, friendly marshalls and a good mix of runners, topped off with a Christmas pud to nice. I could have done with a bowl, spoon and some brandy sauce!!
See you next year!

In short: Quite a charming local race
In full: Not really for total beginners. Would help to be better than 11 minutes a mile or else you will be left a bit stranded.
Nice atmosphere overall.

In short: Good race.
In full: Lots of parking, good changing facilities, friendly bunch, fast route, marshalls urging you on, xmas pud as you cross the line, excellent refreshments for runners and supporters, and the town itself is well worth a look (good pub grub)

In short: Enjoyable Mostly-Flat Course, Well-organized, Run & Supported Race
In full: Decent out and back course. Mostly flat except for gradual mid-length hill about 2.5 miles in... Very speedy pack, and mostly club runners, but quite friendly to newbies. Xmas pudding and unlimited sports drinks @ end was nice touch. Definitely do it again next year!
