In short: Moor Fun
In full: A beautiful 6ish miles across the moors. A challenging course, but very doable. We had a bit of downpour just after the start and the course got muddy, but this was to be expected given the setting. As ever, the course was excellently marked, with no chance of straying off. The marshals were once again in good voice and very encouraging. See you next year.

In short: Hills that hurt but an event that made the pain worthwhile!
In full: The signs to the event weren't the best but as there wasn't too much around in the area it wasn't too bad to find. Having said that the organisation was spot on. My first ever cross country race and I was happy with my time even if a little disappointed that the final hill required a bit of a walk as I had planned to run it all whatever the cost!

Luckily the weather picked up during the race so spectators didn't stand and freeze. I'm now hoping I can get there again next year.......

In short: Really enjoyable race.
In full: This race really surprised me. I thought it would be full of hard core trail runners, but there was a nice mix of abilities. The marshalls were excellent and very encouraging, the moorland scenery was fantastic and although it was challenging in places, it was very enjoyable - highly recommended.

In short: A good race with plenty of ups, downs and flats
In full: Really enjoyed this one. Plenty of marshals and they were excellent. Glorious day (a bit hot for running), views when you didn't have to look at the ground were spectacular. Looking forward to next year already

In short: Fab a definate to put on caender for next year!!
In full: Have done this race since it started three years ago and its a favourite of mine.A challenge, but achievable hills can be tricky as narrow so overtaking not always an option.\Tshirt at end always a priority.

In short: Great event, friendly and well organised.
In full: First time I have done this one - but not the last. I really enjoyed it. Was nursing a pulled hamstring, so took it easy on the soft ground - no ill-effects. Well marked course with loads of marshals. It had seemed a bit expensive when I entered, but worth paying for and the T-shirt is excellent. It is not often you get an event T-shirt you can actually run in - this one has not been off my back since Sunday, it is so comfortable and good quality. All in all, great event. Thanks
