In short: Very well organised, enjoyable race
In full: Well done to the organisers on an excellent race. They have clearly listened to previous advice/criticisms, and vastly improved the direction to the race signs (Mells can be a bit hard to find, even for locals...). The race was well signed and the marshalls were very encouraging. I must apologise here to the marshal at the end who asked me to keep moving to the end of the funnel. I was very tired and I don't think she took my attempt at humour in the manner in was intended. I organise race marshals myself for other events and I am always grateful for their help.

The only suggestion I can make to imporve this event is to price the cakes more sensibly! Honestly - make your lives easier and call it 50p per cake/cup of tea! No-one cares...

Great job - see you next year!

In short: Lovely race and really well organised.
In full: Third year in a row I have run this one, and it was even better than before. The lovely weather helped. Great scenery, brilliant organisation, and I even won my first spot prize to go with my banana and medal. The whole thing was so enjoyable that I soon forgot the killer uphill bit and my shame at briefly walking part of it thus taking 13 secs longer than last year!

In short: Great Day Out!
In full: This was my friend revenge for last years 10k at Maiden Newton - good news was this one had no rain!

I realy enjoyed this one, well set out, well marshalled and nice to have your name called out as you came in for the last 70 mtrs. Gives you a nice boost to finish.

Thanks - will be back.

In short: Challenging run on a lovely, sunny September day.
In full: Small, local run with two nasty steep hills, a horrible rutted, seemingly endless bridle way and some knee shattering downhills towards the end...just the way we love it!!
