In short: Very friendly, well organised 10k. Contains a few challenging hills at the end
In full: Very well organised 10k. Good parking and was pre-warned on the joining instructions to queue to pick up number on the day - but not a long queue. The race itself was on a very hot day, which meant runners snaking about on the course finding any shade they could. The hills at the end were challenging. Marshalled well and they were very encouraging. OK goodie bag to finish and medal.

In short: Great value, flat first half, undulating second half
In full: I found this race a bit of a slow one with the hot day and the undulating second half of the course, however the good weather encouraged us to take advantage of being a short drive from the various beaches in the area.

Atmosphere was good, did not have to queue for toilets, plenty of car parking right by finish area so no fussing with baggage drops.

Great value post-race freebies:
Two cereal bars handed to me in the finish funnel;
Assortment of squash drinks;
Decent sports massage, got the knots out of my calves;
Medal fairly generic although the ribbon was event-specific;

Only negative for me was that numbers were not posted out in advance, so meant queuing for numbers out in the sunshine. However given the low cost of entry I wouldn't complain about them saving on the postage costs!

In short: A friendly local race.
In full: A record entry and good turn out considering the exceptionally high temperature. A fairly quick outward route, with a more uphill return.
The start was delayed by 4 minutes, due to the time taken for runners to collect their numbers and write medical information on the reverse.
I was disappointed to see many runners wearing iPods, despite the entry instructions stating that they were not allowed.

In short: Enjoyable local race
In full: Enjoyed the race and managed to get a PB. The final hill to the finish was tough but the first half encourages a quick pace if you can hang on. The route is on quiet roads with very little traffic and the race was well organised.

In short: Nice 10k with a sting in the tail
In full: Nice race, well organised, bang on distance and well supported by club and non-club runners alike. The 1st 5k has PB written all over it, pancake flat on good road surfaces. The final 5k has enough of an "undulation" in it to take away a potential PB (unless your having a blindingly good race). That being said, its still a good course and well organised. well done to all those involved in making it happen.

In short: A friendly race on quiet country roads with very little traffic
In full: A mildly challenging run, with a fast outwards and more hilly second 5k. The start was much better this year with the Marshalls walking us down to the start, and very little delay before the off. Much better than the previous 2 years chaotic starts. Friendly encouraging Marshals and a nice atmosphere. I certainly hope to run again next year.

In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: Very good race helped by good running conditions. Was flat most of the way with a couple of small hills in second half of race to make it challenging. Only gripe was the start was very congested and maybe should have been delayed to allow everyone into position. Apart from that very good.
