In short: 2012 race - very very wet
In full: I did this race last year in much nicer weather and got a PB. This year it was absolutely throwing it down, was windy and freezing cold. Some people managed to run faster this year - I was about half a minute slower. There was no support in the villages this year due to the rain, but the marshals did a fabulous job and were cheerful and encouraging despite having to stand around in dreadful conditions.

Last year I ate cake afterwards but this year I just wanted to get home to a hot shower!

Well done Teignbridge Trotters for putting on a good race in extremely trying conditions.

In short: Despite wasp sting and hills, got a PB!
In full: Very friendly well organised race and great value for money. Encouraging marshalls and plenty of water.

Yes it has hills but they are all fairly short/sharp with lots of downhill bits and flat bits. I amazingly beat my PB by well over a minute.

I got stung by a wasp at the 3k mark but the first aiders sorted it out for me at the end.

Although I like getting medals I thought the numbered picture was a lovely touch as a memento.

Spectators could buy tea and cake and I got cake too at the end. Yummy coffee and walnut - just hit the spot after a hard run!

Altogether a great race, well done Teignbridge Trotters.

In short: better organisation needed - but good atmosphere
In full: Undulating race so PB's not a chance. Traffic a problem as mostly on narrow country roads, found myself having to dive into a hedge on a couple of occasions as some drivers wont wait for runners in a passing bay. Had to queue for water at the first station but the marshalls were friendly and apologetic.

In short: Lovely undulating race with a nice momento and a good feeling!
In full: Lovely race with a nice momento and a good feeling. If I was being really picky though the start was a bit tricky due to narrow lanes and having to negotiate past people (and people past me!). As per normal Teignbridge Trotter standards the course was well marshalled, well sign posted, drinks stops were well laid out and everyone was very helpful. However, I did witness, on more than one occasion, people pushing by others in the funnell area but that doesn't really matter unless you are top ten! Although the race is undulating (actually flatter than I thought it could be) I think it probably is beginner friendly due to the single sex theme! See you next year!

In short: great race, great atmosphere, great cakes - hilly though!
In full: All very well organised and lovely scenery and excellent carrot cake but I am glad I didn't know in advance quite how hilly it was.
