In short: A really friendly well organised race. I would have no hesitation in doing it again next year.
In full: I would like to praise everyone concerned with organising this race and also all the spectators along the route. I thouroughly enjoyed the race and the goody bag at the end was definitely worth running for. Would certainly do it again next year. Also, thanks to the marshals for all their encouragement and enthusiasm.

In short: Well worth getting up early for
In full: This was my first 10k and I have to say it was really good. The map provided to get there wasn't great, but still made it in plenty of time to start.
The course was mostly flat, the only real slopes were those used to get up and down to/from the two bridges crossed (which were great for their view of the river). My only slight worry is that the path on the south side of the river was mostly dirt and as it had raised quite a bit there were large puddles and lots of mud which was quite slippy in places - but this is not within their conroll so I can' and won't hold it against the organisers.
The only thing which could be slightly negative was that my race time text didnt arrive until about 12 hours after I had finished the race (i.e. after 11 pm) and I was already drifting off to sleep when it woke me.

In short: Nice atmosphere, great location
In full: Lovely run along the river, although you have to watch out for other runners and cyclists. The marshalls were great, and the BBQ afterwards was very well received! I'm slightly biased, given that it goes straight past my front door - but all in all a fantastic run for beginners and I will definitely look out for this next year.

In short: Riverside run, brilliantly organised, close to home - happy days!
In full: As last year, this event was again brilliantly organised. The team behind the race know what runners want and deliver it so well - it's hugely appreciated and makes the day stand head and shoulders above some of the bigger more expensive races.

Specifically the marshalls were in all the right places, visible, cheerful and loud - thanks to them. There were two water stations 4k and 7k which was good and they use the small half bottles which are great to minimise wastage. The post run is great - BBQ, goodie bags, massage, music etc etc.

Well done, I'll be back again next year!

The route is a bit tricky in spots and you have to be careful of your footing but it's short term and getting to run by the river more than makes up for it.

In short: Nice riverside run - flat with hardly any corners.
In full: Only my second 10k and my fourth race / fun run, but I thought this was very good. I would definitely do it again. The towpath is a bit uneven in places so you need to concentrate at times, but otherwise a good, flat route, even managing to avoid any steps at the bridges!

In short: Well-organised, friendly, great value
In full: What a contrast to the Nike Human Race last week! Yes, I know it was less than 500 runners, but excellent organisation, scenic mainly traffic free route, cheerful marshals, a generous goody bag (a Fitness First rucksack no less!), an amusing T shirt and every entry fee penny went to charity- oh and a free barbecue afterwards. What's not to like?

In short: Very well organised. Great London river route.
In full: This race follows one of my regular running routes, so great to run it under race conditions. Very good organisation. Route was well marked and marshalled. Although the tow path can be narrow on the south side of the river, I didn't experience any congestion problems. Goody bag was a rucksack with t-shirt, towel etc. Good post race atmosphere - barbeque went down well. Definately one for 2009.

In short: An well rganised enjoyable run
In full: Well organised & good information feedback from entry to result. Need to improve position of eack K marker on route & water statins all needed to be a little earlier ie first one too long into run , last one too late. Very enjoyable & friendly.

In short: Nice morning out, set a PB.
In full: Well marked and organised, although the free BBQ for participants should probably have started earlier - the queue looked ot be about the same as my time!
