In short: Hard work, but a lovely downhill finish
In full: 3rd time I've done this race and once again, thoroughly enjoyable. Friendly crowd and encouraging marshals. Haven't enjoyed a race this much for ages!

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: Steep climb for first 2K but just runnable for mere mortals. A few bits of road including nice downhill finish but mainly tracks and trails - oh! and lots of big puddles to splash through.

In short: Well organised, well marshalled and friendly - outstanding!
In full: Definitely not a course for PBs, but this event is truly worth doing. The course was 10km of undulating Devon countryside run mainly on trail and field. There could be plenty of potential for getting lost, but the organisation, marshalling and signing was exemplary. The Quarryman's Rest made all feel very welcome and as it was Bampton's Open Day, there is plenty to keep the non-running members of you family occupied whilst you run; I will be doing this race again next year.

In short: Lungbursting first climb, then flat for a bit before more climbs and descents.
In full: Scenic, well organised mostly off road event. Laid back but efficient marshalling of scenic course that had several punishing climbs and manic descents on rocky paths. Splendid views and leavy shaded lanes (with unavoidable puddles) made this a fun race.

In short: Great little race, with friendly marshalls, beautiful scenery
In full: Whether you call it Seahorse Trail or Quarrymans Trail it makes no difference, this still is a beautiful run, very well organised. A good selection of up and downs with a bit of mud thrown in. Great to finish by the pub too ;O}

In short: This one makes you work, gets the hill training for the whole week out of the way in one day
In full: 1st lungbursting mile is all up hill, then a pleasant trot along a rolling bridleway, another sharp climb on tarmac, more bridleway, this one with a rough, fast descent, then a gentle climb before plumetting downhill to the finish.
