In short: Wonderful race. It's what running is all about! In full: Well organized and well marked route despite being off-road. Many thanks to the organizer and the marshals who braved the hideous weather. Thoroughly recommended, although better for experienced runners. Will be back next year. I never did see the source of the Severn; I think it was lost in the low cloud, but I may have found the source of the Nile by mistake. Date of review: September 2, 2007

In short: An event not to be missed. In full: The search for the source was wild, wet and wonderful. The bread and butter pudding was better. A race of true athleticism, a must for next year's calendar, a gem. I'll keep a secret if you can. Date of review: September 2, 2007

In short: Excellent off-road race in deepest, wildest ,Wales - organised by runners, for runners.. In full: Highly recommended - interesting variety of forest tracks, trail and fell underfoot, followed by equally rewarding mixture of fruit cake, sponge and bread and butter pudding after the race !
Many thanks to Maldwyn Harriers for organising and laying on such a fine race Date of review: September 2, 2007
