In short: I agree with other people that the last k seemed very long - I seemed to lose a minute in last k.
In full: The stadium was great and very nice to finish around the track. The route itself was rather dull, but I thought well marshalled. I was disappointed in my time, as I thought I was on for a pb until last 1k, but feel better as others had similar experience and I find I came first in my age category!

In short: Great Sunday fun
In full: Enjoyed it a lot. Found paths more than wide enough for overtaking. Scenery fairly good. Lost any hope of a good time when my pedometer came off after 100yds and I had to run around finding it :-(

Last k definitely too long. It was my slowest by 60 seconds, despite a strong sprint finish. Disappointing as I was on for a good time

In short: Friendly and well organised
In full: Scenery was very variable, and the sewage works near by make the last km even harder. Lovely stadium, and it is nice to finish on a track after pounding concrete for most of it.

In short: flat, fast and well organised
In full: Lea Valley athletics centre is impressive and so was the organisation of this race. Well marshalled and distance markers every KM. Refreshments available at HQ and loads of parking too.

The stretch along the water was nice and scenic but some bits were a little post-industrial.

Good race though, and flat enough for PB potential.

In short: A great run that should become a calander regular.
In full: I really enjoyed this race and did a PB. The last km may have been long as it was my slowest and I was moving well at this stage and had a great friendly battle with two runners on the track finish. Facilities excellent. Medal nice. Scenery variable from the awful industrial fly tipping landscape, through suburban streets to a lovely riverside section. Flat, fast and well organised. I loved this race. I think it will grow!
