In short: +Great scenery, flat course, uncrowded. -Misplaced markers, no bag drop.
In full: It was a beautiful day in Birkenhead park and a very nice run. A two lap course with only a small ascent at the beginning, plenty of room to run, pleasantly uncrowded but enough runners not to feel lonely. I know it is mainly a charity race but still the organizers could do a little better without too much trouble. The kilometer markers were way off the mark, each placed at around 900m and the 10k marker about 500m before the finish line (!). Overall, I think that the race was about 300m too short. Nice for a PB but perhaps one could check this for next year. A bag drop would help - it was a nice day and the very friendly marshals looked after my bag, but for runners on a rainy day without friends or a car a very basic bag drop facility would be appreciated. Dont get me wrong, still a great day and thanks to all helpers.

In short: Great atmosphere and well organised, beautiful, flat route
In full: Great to run with so much support, definitely inspired you to run harder for an awesome cause. Well marshalled and organised generally. Why oh why do races have so few toilets tho?!?! A really positive race event

In short: Great atmosphere in a sun-bathed leafy park
In full: This 10K blended all the fun and good nature of a charity run with the picturesque surroundings of Birkenhead Park soaked in autumn sunshine. The run brought together everyone from the diehard runner to fun runners/walkers of all abilities, and yet it was so well organised that no-one got in anyone else's way. In a nutshell, a great event for a really worthy cause.

In short: Perfect for beginers. Flat course. Give it ago!
In full: Lovely setting in Birkenhead park. Two lap course running on paths around the park. Slightly confusing as only which side you ran on distinguished which lap you were on but not major problem.

Good warm up and very friendly crowd as you would expect from Cancer Research 10km.

Not huge field of established "runners" to push teh faster racers but large crowd of joggers and a fair few walkers to contend with if near middle / back.

Slight concern over distance as may have been slightly short.
