In short: Very friendly and well organised, a quick flat race with PB potential
In full: It seems slightly intimidating on first arriving, as it's fair bursting with super fit service types, but it's so friendly that you soon shrug this off and mentally cast off your podium place! Really flat fast course, not the most beautiful countryside as mainly through fields, but great cookies, coffee, tea (and burgers!) at the end, plus a nice T shirt. Recommended (my PB for 2009 too, but some way of the 32 mins of the winner!!)

In short: Fantastic everything - okay the showers very cold - but at least that was a choice. Very generous on the goodies - hop e the charity got enough money.

In short: Great Charity, Great intentions
In full: Bit of a walk at the start, shame about the computer faults. I nice touch would have been all finishers to have recieved a medal. Great cakes at the end.

In short: The super fit RAF/Army/Navy/Marines were disturbingly fast, but very friendly!
In full: A good 10k, my PB for the year. Lots of services guys and gals looking disturbingly fit, plus a scattering of civies, but well organised, quite scenic and excellent and well needed biscuit at finish line!

In short: excellent PB run
In full: Shame about the fine detail. If you state water at 5K, then it should be there for all, not just the racing snakes. The medal wasn't much to write home about; T-shirt appears OK, although I haven't washed it yet.

In short: Good race. Shame about the lack of water.
In full: A nice route, flat and fast, with regular km markers (despite the briefing at the beginning saying several of them were missing!) but they ran out of water at the 5k mark before 22:30, and there were no directions before the start for civilians to work out where to go. Overall I enjoyed it though!
