In full: Only one nasty hill after the runway tunnel but besides that it's a flat fast run. Nice pub at the end for a rewarding drink! :)

In short: Flying high, a race with a difference!
In full: Great atmosphere - fun but competitive. Lovely country lanes route with plane spotting opportunities! Extra challenge of a little mud this year. Thoroughly recommended.

In short: Planes, Trains and Runners
In full: Enjoyable evening race with a quirky route. Planes taking off a few yards away during a race is a first for me and helped get the adrenalin flowing! Encouraging marshals, fun and friendly atmosphere. Thanks.

In short: A well organised race - through nice scenary.
In full: Great race - only made bad by my feeling extremely ill. Can't wait to do it again next year as I think this has PB potential.

In short: Really enjoyable evening race - well worth getting home late for.
In full: This was my second time at Mobberley and confirmed what I remembered of last year of it being a really well organised and friendly race. I like the novelty of waiting for the barriers of the level crossing to go up so runners can get to the start/get to the pub after the race. Wilmslow and other local clubs were out in force but it's a welcoming crowd for 'unattached' runners too. All in... a nice run out in the sunshine.

In short: A Great Summer Evening with something for everyone
In full: I really enjoy the smaller races and this one was another cracker, thanks to everyone at Wilmslow Running Club who did a great job of organising it. The route was tougher than expected (the hill really is a killer - sorry I didn't believe the previous reviews), but I really enjoyed the run. The Railway pub has a good range of beers too. Results were available almost straight away and all procedes went to a very worthwhile charity. Fantastic!

In short: if you like the smaller events, this one's for you.
In full: one of the first races on my calendar each year.
hot this year led to a slowish time, but still enjoyable.
