In short: Lack of atmosphere due to being out of sight
In full: All in All not a bad race bit out of sight on the walk ways so lack of public support which is always nice good organisation

In short: Wild weather but fun
In full: Although the weather and sea didn't behave very friendly it actually added to the fun in a strange kind of way.
This was well organised and marshalled on a pretty flat and fast course.

In short: hard work
In full: you needed flippers and a snorkel to run this race,my main complaint was where was the time clock at the end because according to my garmin it was about a min out.It was a fun run and the experiance was worth it but did they get the medals from the prom it was the worst iv'e ever had ,it fell apart before i got to my car

In short: Good race but bracing weather conditions
In full: If the weather had been sunny then this route would have been really nice along the coast line. However gale force winds, rain and waves crashing over the track made this race less than desirable. The race speaker was jovial and geared everyone up for the race and the tea and coffee at the end was very welcome. My scores would probably be higher if the weather had been fair.

In full: Despite the waves coming over my head on the way back from Bispham and running into a headwind, very good race. Would like to thank the marshalls and supporters- don't think it was easy for them either. Got a PB, good atmosphere. Will be back next year.

In short: My first ever race, loved it
In full: After training for 2 weeks in the wind and rain,it couldn't have been more fitting for race day, there was strong winds , 8 ft waves crashing over head at times, and side ways rain, (like running through the set for Titanic the Movie ;0) but for me, added to experience and atmosphere of the race, i even got my PB 10k time, so couldn't have been better. the race ended with cheers medal and free energy drink, tea and coffee and showers if required. all good.
see ya next year,,,,

In short: Epic weather this year!
In full: What could have been a nice fast flat course along the sea front turned into a remake of "The Cruel Sea"! Crashing waves leaping over the sea walls to drench tired runners battling against a gale force headwind. Fabulous atmosphere before, during and after this race with a good sesne of cameraderie brought on by the horrific conditions. Marshalls remained encouraging and cheery despite standing in the drenching spray. A truly memorable run!
