In short: the weather was the only challenge in this lovely well organised race!
In full: A very very wet morning.. but the course was wonderful glorious woodland paths and Hampshire countryside at its best.

Lovely warm up with a very cute trainer called Gareth!

Incredibly slippery in the woods which just added to the challenge, and us runners cant afford to get complacent! The marshals were superb cheering and encouraging all the way..communication up to including and after the race full marks, Many thanks to the organisers..! Will come again next year and good weather would be an added bonus.!

In short: Really enjoyable all terrain race!
In full: This was an all-terrain race in which you ran across fields, on tarmac and through woodland trails.

It was a wet morning and as a consequence it was very muddy in places meaning that you could slip and slide a lot if you were not careful. Judging by the number of DNS on the results there were a lot of people who did not fancy it because of the weather, but I absolutely loved it!

The only room for improvement was that it would have been nice to have the chip time as well as the gun time in the results. Apart from that it was a well organised race but not necessarily for the faint-hearted!

In short: Good event
In full: Another wet day in 2012 made the course slippery in places, trail shoes were required. Organisation very good and all the marshalls cheered and pushed the runners along. Very scenic and challenging enough for me to return in the future...on a dry day

In short: Great local race on mixed terrain. Tough but rewarding!
In full: Just wanted to say thanks to the organisers who put on an excellent show. Great atmosphere, great course, great marshalls, all very friendly - just..great! The course was excellent, better than 2008 I think, pleased to see you have kept the run in via the bridge. Good stuff!

In short: A lovely village race :)
In full: I really enjoyed this race. Well organised and no problems on the day (onsite parking, minimal queues for race numbers and toilets!) The whole thing had a family atmosphere that made it more of an event than a hardcore race, so I didn't feel out of place plodding along towards the back.

The course itself was challenging - a few sneaky hills - but interesting terrain (grass, road and trail) and some lovely country views, plus it was well marshalled/signposted with 2 water stations along the route.

It was nice to have lots of spectators at the finish (and not just for the front runners) and the water bottle memento and banana were a nice touch.

I think the BBQ and bouncy castle went down well with those not running, plus the kids fun run later on meant people wanted to hang around.

Overall, a really enjoyable race/morning out. Thanks to all the organisers and sponsors - will definitely be back next year.

In short: For a first time cross country event this was fun!
In full: I really enjoyed this one. It was quite a fast and furious start but once the race settled there were still plenty of people around me. One narrow bit that slowed me a bit, but otherwise room to overtake (and be overtaken!). Some good hills, mixed surface, lovely marshalls and altogether as smoothly run as a baby's bottom. Thumbs up.

In short: My first 10k and I really enjoyed it, as did my friends who came to support me. I was a bit puzzled to see the clock saying 7:03 when I finished, but apparently it had gone wrong. I assume I didn't go through a time warp or go to sleep for a while
