In short: Small field but good race
In full: This was my first time, it was a fairly small turnout around 85 people. Normally it is a 10mile race so not sure what turnout usually is. It was well organised and marshalled. One criticism was the water stations, only small cups of water handed out on what was quite a warm day. It was a fairly quick pace and I scored a PB in what was my first event ever.

In short: Good challenging race- great post race goody bags
In full: Although the weather was poor the atmosphere was great, pre start music was novel.
Loved the post race goody bag- prefer something relevant and useful than a medal that collects dust, not often you get much back for your money these days....feet and hands say Thank-you.

In short: So glad I did this and not Run to the Beat
In full: A little gem of a race. Was worried about the laps being boring, but the hills took care of that. Fab (brave) marshalls. I did a pb - happy considering it was tipping it down and rather hilly. Great goody bag! No medal but you can actually use the things in this bag. And finally a gold star to the person who baked the rock cakes.......Thanks

In short: Pukka Cakes!
In full: Another excellent race. Just the right degree of informality and good organisation that makes a good club event. Last year's hiatus over the distance, due to the field mistakenly doing two laps of the track was avoided. Heavy rain throughout, but the hills on this three lap course took one's mind off it. Excellent and very brave, very wet marshals. Slight hiccup in the finishing straight on the track where a few bollard would have been useful to guide runners towards the finish. I was one of many completely wasted souls who were oblivious to the shouts of the marshals as to the exact location of the finish! Oh, and the showers were cold but the homemade cakes made up for everything! A much better way of spending time on a Sunday than having to put up with unnecessary loud rock music at the O2 Half Marathon taking place the same day.

In short: Enjoyable race around Wimbledon - well marshalled and an interestiting test, I thought. Part of build up to Amsterdam so ndidnt push it but would like to be back next year. Liked goodie bag but agree that medal would be good .l

In short: Well organized 3 lapper around Wimbledon
In full: Despite tough weather conditions this was a very good event. You start and finish on the running track taking in 3 laps of Wimbledon. Initially climbing up to the common and then droppping down past the All England Club. I did manage to PB but only because my only other 10 mile attempts have been on even hillier courses. The marshalling was very clear and they should be commende3d for sitting out in the rain for a few hours.

In short: Great way to spend a wet day
In full: My second year on this race. A good challenge and delighted to smash my PB by nearly 5 minutes and be under 1hr 20. Good marshalling, although a few extras would have helped for crossing some of the T-junctions onto the main road. One big point, please a medal for next year. The people who find it a struggle especially need a token to show they managed a tough challenge. Of all the races I do in a year, this is the only one yet without a momentum.
