In short: A tough 10 miler...don't expect a PB

In short: Flat and undulating?!!!! Not the race I ran.
In full: The organisation was very good though at one point i did wonder where I was meant to go as the race was smaller than most and at times i felt I was running by myself. The start was fast with the 10k starting with the 10 mile which felt hard but produced a personal best. The hill in the woods was a killer and definately did not fall within my definition of undulating.I loved the changing scenery and it felt like i really had taken a run in the country. Shame that the chip was not set up to log our times at the start. What is the point? And the results - where are they?

In short: Hard and enjoyable multi terrain run.
In full: Nice run through scenic countryside. Challenging hills and well marshalled. A little few extra signs would have helped those who didn't now the site find the toilets and baggage area and Start! Beware runners doing the 10K who pull your pace along a bit too quick!

In short: 'Undulating' 10 Miler - A good challenge
In full: Nicely organised, friendly marshalls, nice countryside and a testing route. Well done BSRC. Only query with the chip timing is, having brought it in, why no mat to log start times. It took me a few seconds to cross the start line from the gun due to all the 10K speedies in front of me. Makes the accuracy of chips a bit pointless.
Otherwise a good morning out and well recommended.

In short: Tough 10 mile, but hugely enjoyable scenic route
In full: Not for the faint-hearted, nor for anyone seeking a PB. The Stortford 10 course has changed a lot over the years but this course is a winner.

In short: Great race- tough hill half way
In full: I did this race last and enjoyed it very much, I think it was hot then as well. Very well organised plenty of water. I went off for a PB but forgot about the hill half way. A challenging course the gradual incline between 7-9 was also painful. Beat last years time though so was quite happy with the end result.
Was also glad to be going right at the split instead of left with the 10 milers.
