In short: Fave race
In full: Great sunny race after a brief rain shower - testing hills, fast descents, great marshalls, great location.

In short: A real gem of welsh loveliness with a few wee hills.
In full: Excellent organisation as usual and plenty of support along the route and at the finish. Great to see the whole club and their families getting behind the race and helping out so a huge Thankyou for giving me chance to run my heart out and run my knees off!

In short: Fantastic but challenging race
In full: Loved the race. The sun came out, the scenery was great and the whole race was very well organised.
The hills were tough but with plenty of down hills &/or flat sections in-between to recover.
Pretty much traffic free, running on small lanes. A tiny bit muddy/slippy in odd places but that's inevitable in autumn in a country race.
Reasonably priced with a decent goody bag for the price.
So much more enjoyable than the big expensive mass races, really glad I did it.
Would definitely do it again.

In short: All in prep for London 2012
In full: My wife and I are preparing for Virgin London Marathon 2012 and this seemed like a good step up from the 10k ratehr than a half marathon.
Good quick first mile in 7mins and through 5 miles in 41m. Crashed at the last 2 miles but still broke 90mins which was the aim.
Pity the water stop didn't arrive until 5 miles. the route evaded the dams which was a shame. Excellent marshalls and well worth the trip.

In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: Thankd to the friendly marshalls and to Rhayader Athletic club for a really well organised race. Interesting splits though - mile 1 down hill was 6mins dead but mile 3 uphill was 8mins 50, The rest was not quite so extreme, but it is a tough one.

In short: Fantastic scenery to take your mind off the hills!
In full: Took this one quite easy as not done a lot of training and was quite last minute. Well organised, with a nice downhill before the killer hills arrived.

Support and marshalls were great, all with a smile on their faces. Great value for money and I'll be back next year trained to race it.
