In short: A lovely little event
In full: Small numbers, a coal miner trophy and a good course helped make this one to remember

In short: Great event I ran the half marathon last year so gave the 10k a go this time it will be a crime if this is the last time it's held, and the coal sculptures are a unique prize, hope to be back next year.

In short: Wonderful!
In full: I just LOVE this 10K - so hands OFF B&NES Council. Well, done all concerned. Personally, everything went well; I breezed up Silver St hill and knocked nearly a min off my PB. The weather was utterly perfect, as was all the organisation, stewards, mementoes, etc. A lovely event.

In short: Great race, and with some hills and large sections of downhill make it a good quick race too.

In short: A reasonably challenging run with a really friendly feel
In full: A cracking little event but very disappointing that the local council are potentially putting any future races in jeopardy by allowing H&S bureaucracy to rule...shame on you!

In short: Great fun. Water stations not always ready with water though. Nice memento. Real shame if this doesn't happen again.

In short: well organised small race
In full: Great organisation with excellent marshalls and plenty of support. Starting behind the 1/2 marathon runners was quite beneficial especially up the hill. Well done to all, except the local council who have put this lovely race in doubt for the future due to excessive regulations, what a shame.
