In short: Good run, the hills are overstated and not worthy of the hype some give them!

In short: Nice undulating course
In full: First time I've done the race and was pleasantly surprised. Course undulates throughout and there is a little bugger of a hill right near the end, but overall a pretty decent 10k. Well worth entering to shake away those Christmas blues.

In short: Challenging but fun, good atmosphere among runners and quite competitive
In full: Car parking was a little tricky (I foolishly underestimated it turning up by car when I live a mile from the start!) and the start was a little congested but only very minor issues.

Overall thoroughly enjoyed it, good mile markers and well marshalled. Nice challenging course with plenty of undulations.

Would definitely do this again.

In short: Good atmosphere but not sure I would do it again
In full: This was my very first run and I enjoyed it. I had no idea what to expect and found it fairly competitive but I was not the last to finish! A few runners fell at the start due to the narrow running space but soon runners spread out but that could be an issue. The scenery is town and country and there is just one or two hills. Overall it was a good introduction and you got a mug at the end, though I would have preferred a t-shirt! Not sure if I would do it again.

In short: A great course but i won't do it again until the start is changed
In full: A great event with good friendly organisation but I think after this years race the organisers really need to change the start. Just like a lot of people I narrowly missed running into hidden posts in the middle of the cramped starting 50 yards, and then kerbs try to trip you on the tight turns.

In short: NIce country 10k with some hills - see comments re dangerous start
In full: Enjoyable race. The only issue is the start which is in the school car park and has a number of dangerous obstacles including a couple of 3 foot high posts and several kerbs, all of which are not clearly visible in the melee at the start. I saw at least 3 people fall and there may well have been injuries, i saw at least 1 person fall last year so these are not isolated incidents. Starting in the road would cut maybe 100m max off the course but would be a much safer option.

In short: Well organised with plenty of marshals to point you in the right direction
In full: Big thanks to all the marshals (they must have been cold),I didn't think it was as hilly as some have said in previous reviews (although it could have been a different route than theirs)
would have liked a t-shirt instead of a mug,Glorious sunshine made it an ideal day for a run
