In short: Organiser was anal
In full: Got irritated by the fact the organisers kicked up a stink about my entry form (been racing for 8 years now and never had an issue) and they petulantly entered me as unattached.

Therefore decided not to race this (despite paying in advance) so I won't be doing this race ever again, unless they change their stance.

In short: Great run and possible PB. But at £17.50 entrance fee a little steep?
In full: Apart from the adverse weather conditions, hail, snow, sleet and rain. This is a great course through lovely countryside and a possible PB. However, limited car parking and £17.50 entrance fee did stop me from rating this higher. A good medal for those who completed the 20K, but the rest of the goody bag, apart from the beer, was flyers which went into the recycle bin!

In short: Great run, wonderfully organised, great club (i would say that lol!) A+++++ race
In full: Okay i may be bias, as i am a member of the black dog clan, but i will tell you how it was. First ever time of running a 20km. Excellently organised, from the baggage, refeshments, local sports shop (which i purchased some well needed gloves) and the start/finish lines. The marshalls were superb especially Jemma at 18.5km (have you lost your voice?). The marshalls/water stations well deserved there own medal, the weather was terrible - never raced in such naf conditions! Bungay black dog's rock - thank you.

In short: What else would you want to do on a bitterly cold, wet and windy Sunday morning/afternoon?
In full: Probably the best road running events held in East Anglia. All the organisers should be well applauded for their efforts to make these races cater for all levels of athlete/jogger.Excellent venue, facilities, marshalling, parking, signage, loudspeaker system, refreshments, bag storage, start, finish, timing, goody bag (if you really need one)+bottle of Adnams.

In short: Good organisation, lousy goody bag
In full: This is a well-organised race with friendly marshals and good facilities. The goody bag was disappointing, though - mine contained just a bottle of water, a banana and a mouthful of muesli bar. The race website said "quality goody bag" and having paid a £15 entry fee I did expect better.

In short: Excellent race despite the weather
In full: I've never run such a cold, wet, snowy, windy race - well not all at once anyway. Despite the weather it was an excellent event, organisation superb and the free soup helped thaw me out at the end. Will definitely try again next year.
