In short: Superb surroundings make this a wonderful race.
In full: Wonderful, friendly race. Tough undulating course with no chance of a PB, or so I thought. Knocked a minute off!

In short: Stunning scenery, great atmosphere - top race
In full: A previous review stated that this race wasn't 10k - I think that was on the course where they had to re-route it due to building work on the Langdale estate. It's properly measured (we asked Rod) and came in on my Garmin within 100m of 10k, so that's good enough for me. Brilliant race - amazing views (especially when you turn back), challenging course, and a friendly, supportive field. One to go back to every year.

In short: Isn't actually 10k!
In full: At first i was thrilled to of got a PB. Then i realised my mu and dad had also achieved a PB. My Mum (being the perfectionist that she is) kept reviewing the time scores because she couldn't believe it. At my running club, members told me that they had PB's aswell and they informed us that the race isn't actually 10kilometers but actually under 10k. I feel cheated about this race and will not participate in this next year.

In short: Excellant event as usual! Always forget how many hills there are! Despite being out Fri and Sat nights and doing Crinkle Crags and Bow Fell on Sat - still managed years best 10k time!
