In short: Lovely scenery, nice mix of gradients, good marshalling/support, easy parking, not enough loos!

In short: Could have been good
In full: Unfortunately, for me, a few things let this race down,
1) Long long queue for the 16 toilets (over 1500 competing). I had no choice but to continue queueing for the toilet even tho the start time had passed!
2) Poor start organisation as i found the track to narrow to pass the slower runners so had to walk.
3) Queueing at the first water station during the race desperately trying to find a cup to get water.
4) Very few or hard to find markers making it hard to pace during the race.

The weather was good and the crowd were excellent.

In short: Very picturesque, most of it in the shade, steep uphill at the beginning then slowly declining then steep downhill at the end - watch your knees!

In short: Good fun and friendly atmosphere. Thrown into a tough climb right from the start. 2.5k steep hill. The grounds of Chatsworth were a great setting.

In short: One of the toughest starts you will ever encounter in a 10k
In full: Great event - well recommended but not one for the feint hearted.
The first challenge was the toilets and the second the climb in the first 2/3 km and after that it was great.
Thanks to the organisers - you all did a great job - how did you organise the sunshine!

In short: OMG what a hilly start
In full: I cant belive how hilly the first 2-3k were. I will be ready for it next year. i just hope they put on more toilets - lots more! Brilliant weather and an excellent family day out as you can nip round to the adventure park and farm after - everybody is happy.

In short: Forget attempting a decent time, just enjoy it.
In full: Previous reports talk about the first 2km being hilly - felt more like the first 7km to me! Some parts would be challenging to walk, let alone run.

Glad it was dry - would be a 'mare in the wet.

Loos were a joke but plenty of trees & hedges to hide behind. Hope the Duchess doesn't mind me weeing in her garden.

Nice local race, good setting, decent support, just forget any chances of a PB!

In short: Gruelling but good
In full: I had heard the fisrt 2 k was uphill but apart from a couple of short stretches it was nearer the first 4K. Plenty of water stops (3No) and in sensible places i.e. after a long ascent.
May add it as a training run as I live fairly local but definitely back again next year.
Well marshalled from the parking to the course which could have got messy where in bound route meets outgoing but all was well
