In short: What a hill
In full: As a relative beginner that hill was pretty tough, well organised but mainly on narrow tracks and very hard to overtake in many places, particularly those walking that hill (albeit my "running" was only marginally quicker). Great value for £3 and lovely downhill finish

In short: Killer course on a fabulous day
In full: Very challenging steep uphill run on slippery and narrow course. Lots of club runners present, parking was very easy. No official timing was taken and not much evidence of results having been published 2 days after the event. Would like to know where I was placed after having burst my lungs!

In short: Slightly less muddy than last year!
In full: Why am I still incapable of running up the hill? But the down hill was marvellous as always. I just like this race as it is friendly and fun and on my birthday!

In short: Muddy tough race especially after a skinful the night before
In full: Tough race due to muddy conditions, especially with the wrong footwear. Disappointed that there was no medal. Marshalling was good. Roll on 2008.
