In short: Nice flat course
In full: I was using this as a practice race before an Autumn marathon which I found it to be great training for despite the heat. On the 2nd lap there was not many runners at the pace I was doing near the back. When I got to the finish there was only the time keepers and nobody to give medal, drinks or banana as they were at the race presentations. A nice friendly fun which my 4 year old nephew enjoyed doing especially as he got a medal.

In short: Very good, relatively flat course
In full: Very good flat course over 2 laps makes for PB potential. However my (and others) Garmins measured the course at 15.25 miles.
Well orgainised race, although a little flat on atmosphere.

In short: Good run on a lovely September day
In full: Did the two-lapper for the first time, enjoyed it but weather warmed up on the second lap which slowed me down. Quiet country roads so the second lap was a bit lonely. Last mile took 2 minutes longer than expected - maybe the measurement was a bit out?? Overall a good race and would definitely do it again, excellent value for money.

In short: Good organisation, nice countryside
In full: 15 miler was two laps - second lap a bit lonely after company of 7.5milers on first. Not too much crowd support. Lots of marshalls - but some just stood quietly without offering encouragement.

In short: 2 laps of quiet country roads from good race HQ
In full: good direction signs to the school HQ, Race well marshalled at all junctions although on the second lap the gaps between runners caused some marshalls to almost drop off & only signal at the last moment. Plentiful car parking. Sparse spectators but this is a rural route.

In short: i did the 7.5 mile (not up to a 15 mile just yet!) - disappointed at lack of atmosphere on the day, but more disappointed by results STILL not being available for 7.5 mile 1 week after race .

In short: A testing course
In full: Not as flat as I thought it would be, nice course, think I saw father christmas sat on a bench with his shirt off, soaking up the sun.

In short: A nice scenic race, a good one as long as the weather holds
In full: I enjoyed this as my first run longer than a 1/2 marathon. Absolutely fine until mile 14 - when a big hill appeared from nowhere! Despite that, and a really slow time I really enjoyed it and should be back again next year. Scenic and well worth doing.
