In short: Scenic but challenging...
In full: 2 laps of a 5K course that went around Woburn Abbey through the deer park and ornamental gardens. Was a lovely location and very scenic, and obviously for a good cause (BHF).

Downsides for me was that it was quite hilly, exposed and windy, also running on grass and gravel, which all made it a tougher run than i was expecting. Water station at 1/2 way would be nice.

Now i know what to expect though i'll be back next year.

In short: A great charity fun run
In full: A great charity fun run. Good organisation - everyone was at the start in their charity t-shirt on time. However the actual run wasn't measured out properly which did let it down as you couldn't call it a proper race and it was well under 10k; but as a charity fun-run it was good. Personally I found it great just to be back running round Woburn again (as the Safari Park 10k races weren't on this year).

In short: Mind out for the stags!
In full: Beautiful day for a run in the park. Wished it had been the whole 10K as advertised. I know it was a fun run, but nearly squashed some young walkers that placed themselves at the front. The deer made it special

In short: it was for charity
In full: shame about the distance not quite 10k. Makes the morning less of an achievement. It was for charity.

In short: Not quite 10K but worth it
In full: Given that this was a fun run I didn't mind that the course was only 8.8k. A good day out and a nice venue, although the heat (21oC) and the hills made thing harder. I plan to run this one again next year.
