In short: Challenging hills for beginners
In full: I found this course challenging, couple of killer hills, especially at the end, was helped through by very encouraging marshalls. The terrible snow/sleet weather didn't help. Very disappointed not to receive a medal- only those who do the 20k distance got one of those, the price was the same for both distances though...

In short: Fun, friendly and well worth the effort
In full: I thoroughly enjoyed running the Bungay marathon which was my 2nd marathon, I even managed a PB! The hills were a killer the second time around, but I was coping okay until the 1/2 marathon runners came past me as I was completing the hills. It was demoralising, and brought me down to earth, as they do leave you standing!

Excellent organisation, though having done BBDRC events before, I wasn't surprised, they do manage to get it right every time.

The marshals, spectators and locals were really encouraging, and I am intending to do it again next year.

In short: Really enjoyed it. Lovely little club, well organised and Beccles/Bungay pretty to run through. Much more hilly than I expected in Suffolk though :-)

In short: A challenging first 6 miles then a reasonably flat 7 miles to the finish. Good support from the marsahlls and spectators around the course. A warm day this year. I'll be back next year, perhaps for the marathon.

In short: Wonderful organisation and support on the way round. Written on my calendar every year.
In full: Missed out last year due to injury, so glad to be back at my home town half. The organisation seems to get better and better with support from the marshals and most of the villages on the way. A few minutes slower than i'd wanted but i'd forgotten about the number of hills in the first half. Nice medal as well, see you again next year!

In short: Yet another great bungay black dog race
In full: Despite the heat and the unexpected number of hills (until about 6 miles) I really enjoyed the race. Possibly more as I was not aiming for a particular time but pace my brother round.
It was well organised, marshalled and had plenty of well maintained water stops especially in the heat.

In short: I had a mare but Bungay BD running club certainly didnt!
In full: This was my third marathon and I have to say although it's very low key it was absoutely brilliantly run. Everything worked like clockwork, except my legs at mile 23! The support was great from the marshalls and the course very pretty but challenging.

I will definitely do this race in the future, but not until I've got London & Boston out of my system.
