In short: Testing course ideal sharpener for FLM
In full: If wet the start and finish can be rather sticky on the grass, but the rest of the run is on quiet country roads.2 Challenging hills at 9 and 18 miles makes a PB difficult. Organisation was excellent facilities good for the setting.

In short: If anyone tells me Suffolk is flat I'll point them to this race!
In full: This is a tough one. Undulating, extremely so in some places (9 and 18 miles in particular - but the few from the top of the hill at 18 is worth the climb). Very well organised, marshals were very encouraging and supportive. Loads of water stops. Talking of water, could we have a few more gents toilets next year please.

In short: First time and challenging, but worth it. Excellent and friendly marshalls
In full: First time for this race and distance. Found the hills challenging; a big thank you for the encouragement from the friendly marshalls and sweeper drivers who accompanied me along the way. It was a great morale booster for my first London marathon training. Glenda

In short: A tough course but very enjoyable
In full: The Bury 20 has always been a classic and is
great marathon preparation. Its an interesting route and a huge relief once you get past the hill at 18 miles. More toilet facilities would have helped, particularly for the ladies. I Both my daughter and I really enjoyed it thanks to all those concerned at Bury for a great event.
