In short: My very first race. I'll be back to improve my PB! In full: This is my first race after a few months of training. Despite arriving on my own I was soon chatting to other competitors and the atmosphere was very friendly. The organisation was spot on with marshalls and water at 4 and 8 miles. I managed 1:34:24 helped with pacing from another friendly runner (Thanks). The souvenir was fantastic for a £7 entry fee. I'll be back next year. Date of review: April 2, 2007

In short: The one race I do every year In full: Quite a change to last year, no slipping involved, and a lot faster. Funny how I blanked out the hills though...Course is well planned through superb scenery, marshalls are great, organisation is spot on. This was the first race I ever ran, and is solely responsible for getting me hooked on trail/x-country races. Great idea for a memento. Big thanks to all involved. Date of review: April 2, 2007
