In short: Lovely spring evening
In full: Another successful outing for this popular early season run. Newer course is improved. Well organised.

In full: Well organised, plenty of parking close by, no toilet queues, pleasant running on lanes, fast course, as accurate as it gets at 5.03 miles on my Garmin. Good value at £6 affiliated as no tat like medals and T Shirts, just a good value club race. A bottle of water would have been nice at the finish thats all.

In short: Tiny changes make for a big difference.
In full: Course has been changed slightly from previous years and in my opinion had greatly improved the race. A better start, only 50m on grass at the finish, and what seemed like more downhill’s than up! Accurately measured with each marker was within 5 feet on my GPS. Good standard field and lots of locals too. Perfect. Great organisation, I'll be back for my 4th outing next year. Well done West Cheshire AC.

In short: New Faster Course - Great Race - Great Value!
In full: This is a cracking race and for £6 - £8 who could ask for more. There are road closures a new faster start and excellent organisation. I will definetly be doing this again next year!

In short: Should have broken 40:00 in my first race but for longer course
In full: First ever race for me and I enjoyed it.

Plenty of parking. Bridge over the road to event was fine but I felt it after the race!

Started off slow at 8:15 for first mile. I then remember thinking after 4 miles that I might have a chance of breaking 40 mins but despite "sprinting" last mile was slightly disappointed with 41:15. However after reading others comments on here about the course being a little longer I may well have broken the 40:00 mark so that is a bit annoying.

In short: Good 5 mile (and a bit!) race
In full: My second year at this event. Always a good race, altered ending made the course slighty long. My GPS had it exactly right upto 4 miles then final distance was 5.13 - which fits with a 20 second longer split (even though I was pushing hard.) But all in all a good race and well run. Just change the end back to normal!

In short: Very pleasant evening run in the sun.
In full: Really enjoyed the run but was a bit disappointed that it was 5.13 miles rather than 5 miles exactly. The extra .13 meant I did not reach my target of under 45 mins which I would have done if it had been exact or close enough. That said everything else was spot on. Will be back next year.

In short: Definitely over distance!
In full: All the other mile markers were bang on to within 1 stride, then the 5 mile point comes and there is still .14 of a mile/42 seconds @ sub 5.20 pace left to run! Not good :-(

In short: Well over 5 miles?
In full: An extremely fast course and pretty well marshalled but the finishing section in the playing field has altered and I measured it at 5.17 miles- others with Garmins also measured it close to that. This had a massive impact on times- I lost a minute if my watch was correct and I'm afraid it often is...
