In short: Good fun! Great introduction to the world of trail running...
In full: I did the half marathon with a couple of mates. The first half of the race was relatively easy going. Thought I would kick on in the second half, only to find it a whole lot more challenging! Glad we had a nice sunny day - dodgy weather could have made things very interesting indeed.

Very well organised event, a very scenic and well marked out course, and a nice friendly atmosphere. It has sold me on the idea of trail races.

In short: A great mad event - I'm still chuckling about the terrain!
In full: Great event, very well organised with quality / different scenery.

Also one of the toughest trail marathons I've done, but a real sense of satisfaction at the finish. Hope the 4 lads who were going on to do the Gloucester Marathon the following day weren't too sore. Nutters!

I thought that £45 represented good value for money (it also included a hot meal at the end from the cafe/restaurant's menu that would have costed £9). T-shirt and medal are nice, plus it was good not to be running in crowds for a change (cos I'm too slow!).

Will have a think about doing the full series of 5 next year.....

In short: A fantastic trail run, great views, big steep hills. Very good fun.
In full: I ran the HM, my first one over this kind of terrain. Beautiful cliff paths, chesil beach and one very steep incline from 0 to 400+ feet very quickly. The event was well organised and the after run meal was top notch. The higher entry fee was worth it as the runner numbers were low. I'm signing up for their Exmoor one now. I take my hat off to the marathon nutters who did 2 laps!
