In short: Great cause, beautiful weather - very poor organisation.
In full: For a £20 entry fee I would have expected something a little better and more professional. I know its a charity event but...
1. 5 Portaloos is hardly sufficient for over 900 runners.
2. T-shirts weren't distributed, they were available apparently in boxes somewhere.
3. There were only two marker posts throughout the whole course and one drinks station (very hidden).
4. Bag reclaim - we queued for 45 minutes to get our bags back.
5. The finish post was taken down very early - so a lot of the late finishers didn't have the glory of properly crossing the finish line (for first-timers this is often the best bit).

In short: Gorgeous day and PB so cannot complain!
In full: I agree the course was short, but only very slighly so was ok. I thought the organisation fine and everyone friendly. I didn't mind paying £20 as for a vey good cause, but is v. expensive for a race that is low budget/ profile. I like laps so really liked the course.
Just two criticisms - I thought I had pobably finished in the top 10 (which only happens in lower profile races!) so wanted to see my placing, but the results were up by surname so no way to tell where you came. Secondly, there was no way to tell (as far as I could see) whether people had done one, two or three laps when they finished!

In short: Fab course. Beautiful day. Could have been better organised.
In full: It's a wonderful course - beautiful, flat and fast, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It's also a great charity to support too. BUT....only 5 portaloos for runners, we missed getting t-shirts as queuing 25mins for loo, couldn't find the warm-up, wrong info in the pre race pack, didn't spot any markers during race (there were two apparently but most missed them), later finishers couldn't find water, bag reclaim was chaotic - took half an hour and people were standing on other bags to try and find their own, no-one knows where the results will be posted... Still, looking forward to next year!

In short: Great saturday morning run
In full: organisation could be bettered...i.e. bag collection and the fact that even registrars did not know where the results would be posted.
that said, the atmosphere was great and everything was done with the best of intentions...
overall well worth a trip if you are in the area.
