In short: Had forgotten about those hills!
In full: A nice course though - better than most seafront runs which just take you there and back. Tougher than I remembered but probably less fit. Great to see more water supplies though and jelly babies! And excellent goody bag at the finish.

In short: A coastal undulating course which offers both a good challenge and value.
In full: A race runs along side the full Coastal marathon that offers good organisation and vaule in all areas. I was only let down this year by miss placed or missing mile markers that made race paceing far more difficult.

In short: Always enjoyable.
In full: Thoroughly enjoyed the event after a couple of years absence. Great set of marshals, well organised and grateful for the energy drink in the goody bag.

In short: Some nice coastal views on an undulating course. Plenty of space to run freely.

In short: A decent event that just lacks a bit of polish
In full: The pre-run comms were patchy. Water stops in first 13 miles were inadequate and an energy drink would have been good. I would rather spend a few pounds more and get a bottle that will last a couple miles and you can run with, rather than the flimsy plastic cups that make you stop or take in inadequate fluids - this was a hot day

In short: More undulating than expected, but still managed my usual time. And best goodie bag I've received
In full: Top marks to all the marathon runners who reached their personal milestones of 100, 200 and 300 races - made me feel a bit sheepish for finding 13.1 miles a bit of stretch. More hills than I expected, but the good company and excellent goodie bag made it worthwhile. Well done organisers - I will be back next year. And good luck in the Dublin marathon Orlando.
