In short: Up and down half marathon
In full: Was my fist half, so cannot really pass comment but it did seem up and down a lot. Well organised and great value. Well worth doing.

In short: Good organisation, challenging run but enjoyable. Value for money.
In full: My second half so not much to compare it to but was impressed with marshalling and there were plenty of gels and water available on the course. Goody bag, medal and T-shirt all good quality. The hills do make it interesting but who wants to run a flat course every time? One very minor gripe - would have been useful to know which way were running as I had to make my way towards the back when I found out. Well done TRR, I'll be back next year.

In short: A great run.
In full: A challenging run with plenty of fine scenery to take your mind off the hills. The marshalls did a good job and offered much needed encouragement during the race. I will certainly be back for more.

In short: Very tough but well rewarded for your efforts.
In full: This was my 4th year at the Kent Coastal and every year I find it a killer but can't resist the challenge to do it again. This is one of the best organised races on my personal race calendar; the marshals always have a smile and offer encouraging words. You are rewarded well for your efforts: medal, T-shirt, goody bag, banana and a drink. Because of the unrelenting terrain, it sets me up well for my marathon later in the month. Sorry Thanet Runners, there is no way I could go past the half marathon to complete the Kent Coastal Marathon but those that do are real heroes. See you next year.

In short: Superb organisation and great value for money.
In full: This was a challening course, which was made more difficult by the sun and heat. However, the race was memorable also for the energy gels, water bottles, jelly babies and sponges given out by the marshalls. It almost makes me want to run the full distance next year!
