In short: My first race, I came near the back but enjoyed it none the less. No water left at the end after I finished though

In short: Disappointing finish
In full: No water left at the finish not enough medals. The later finishers appreicate the momento maybe more than most several of those without medals this was there first race. A promise of the medal to be sent not arrived yet and the it's getting something on the day that counts.
Plenty of water at the water station but not good to finish and then have to walk another half mile to get drink.

In short: Definite PB route, nice low-key event
In full: The flat, fast route was this race's main selling point for me. A pleasant route along country lanes, friendly and well organised (although I wasn't aware of medals running out.) One minor point, the mile markers all seemed to come round too early, not a problem as I was taking splits on the Garmin but I know of one runner who was disappointed to miss target when he thought he was well on for it. Overall though, a nice race and would definitely do it again to get the PB down further.

In short: Nice low key race
In full: Well marshalled race & flat course with good pb potential. No problems with organisation as far as I was concerned & good value for money.

In short: Flat route on quiet lanes, let down a bit by organisation
In full: Nice route in pleasant countryside. Well marshalled. Small field so found myself running alone most of the way which always makes it seem longer. Well intentioned organisation but a few minor tweaks would improve the experience. Would have been difficult to find HQ, start etc if you didn't know where you were going and a bit disappointed that they had run out of medals by the time I finished.

In short: Nice small field, flat and fast route - good for a PB. Two water stations, nice touch. A little confusing where the actual start was. Will return next year - a PB course is hard to say no to during the quiet running months..

In short: As a beginner the organisers were friendly and helpful. The route was flat with a downhill start. Drinks at 2.5 miles. A great first race for me that has whet my appetite for more!

In short: Nice route but organisation disappointing
In full: Route was very pleasant and marshalling very good, but organisation let this race down today.
Poor signage to race HQ, no directions to the start, ran out of medals early, and jaffa cakes were left in the van ! Apparently many entered on the day, but that should not mean running out of medals. Suggest remove date fromm them and manufacture more (they can keep for next year).
Us slower runners want a medal on the day, not next week in the post ! Otherwise a nice race.
