In short: Lovely, friendly race
In full: This is the perfect race to kick off the running season - ideal for beginners and the usual suspects alike. Beautiful location and helpful - if a little quiet(!) marshalls. Good idea to use the timing chips which relieved the congestion of last year's finish. Thanks very much to the tireless cheerleaders and the one-man band!

In short: PB so i'm happy
In full: Pretty flat, off road but not muddy - nice change! Little congested at the start but after the first mile it settled down. Plenty of marshalls though not particularly talkative bar one or two. Liked the cheerleaders and one man band!

In short: Missed the start - in the loo! First km spent weaving through the pack. Still, managed 39.59!!!

In short: Not one of the better races
In full: Nice scenery, wind was the only real challenge on the course. Cheerleaders and one man band broke up the monotony. However, disappointed with so called goody bag (a T Shirt and flyers) Finished half way and only size S or XL left, didn't we indicate size on our entry forms :-(. Then had to wait 45 mins to get out of car park.

In short: Good, could be very good with a few modifications.
In full: Enjoyed the race.
The finish was a bit messy though with some people having to queue to get over the line, it didn't seem to affect my time, but maybe others weren't so lucky.
Overall a good start to my year, t-shirt not bad either.

In short: Comfortable, pretty flat race round a park - make sure you start near the front if you expect a fast time!
In full: My first 10k race - although the long queue for the ladies loos meant I started near the back of the pack and spent the whole race wasting energy running around people. The surface is mostly tracks and paths - but they're pretty narrow so if you expect sub 45mins, make sure you start near the front of the group to avoid running most of your race on the grass at the side. The atmosphere was fun - loved the percussion group, the one man band on the really windy stretch and the cheerleaders towards the end! Given this race is getting pretty popular, I'd suggest trying to group starters by expected finish time at the start if possible.
