In short: Great road race, well organised
In full: superbly well organised race, even from the parking facilities. a challenging hill to finish off, however on the whole thoroughly enjoyable, and would do again

In short: Confusion at the start - lots of hills!
In full: The start wasather confused - but I guess that this was down to the building works in the usual start place. Good atmosphere and lots of people obviously out to make the best of the fairly gruesome weather conditions!

In short: Up and downer but only 5 miles so the sort of course where can grit teeth and dig in
In full: Agree with everyone about funky long sleeved black top - nice that some thought given to this when many "free" race Ts are cheap and nasty. Didn't personally encounter any probs at start. Always a very friendly race. For people who haven't done it, 1st 2 miles mainly uphill counterbalanced by next 2, with a bit of digging in required at the very end.

In short: Very friendly race, and well organised
In full: It's a shame about the mix up at the start as this race is usually exceptionally well organised. I did enjoy the race despite the hilliness of the course and chilly start. Excellent tea and cakes thanks. Just one gripe about the t-shirts. I took over 50 mins to complete the race, by which time there were no small t-shirts left. :-( I'm a size 10 lady and the medium swamped me. Quite dissapointed.

In short: Challenging Hills, Great Long Sleeve and cakes at the end
In full: This is my second time taking part in this race. Again it was well organised and friendly a challenging course that you feel happy to have conquered. Great Black long sleeve at the end along with excellent tea and home made cakes.
