In short: fun race -the shocking weather helped the banter! well organized
In full: this is the scond time ive done this race and the third time ive raced at fowlmead. as everyone has mentioned the weather was hideous but it added to the normal start line banter. the area is very exposed meaning its been quite windy the other times ive raced there, so probably not a course for setting pb's, but it is a well organized race with plenty of marshalls and a decent goody bag on completion (salomon running cap / water / lucozade tablets / few leaflets for other events). a good mixture of ages and abilities too. my younger sister competed, it was her first race and she felt perfectly at home. will def be racing the summer 5K series here and recommend the race / venue to others!

In short: Nice race. Bit of a challenge for a road-runner!
In full: The weather today for this race couldn't have been worse; horizontal sleet! But it was an enjoyable event and well organised. The course is quite flat with one wee hard hill. Big thanks to the marshalls who looked frrrrreezing cold!

In full: This is a good challenge made more difficult by the extreme weather, I really enjoyed the event. The race was low key, friendly and well organised, there was a medal and a goodybag for all finishers. I would certainly run it again.

In short: Very good local race. Off road with a few hills, and nice views. Location can get quite windy as elevated. . Unlikely to be a PB course!

In short: Fantastic race. An interesting course with surprisingly good views. Low key, but good enough organization. Just looked a bit tough on the tail enders to have to go past the finish with a mile and a half to go.
