In short: A great warm up for a spring marathon
In full: Nice flat circular course and seeing friends and family at the halfway/10 mile point put a smile on my face which made the second 10 a little easier. Friendly marshals and well attended water stations made this a very enjoyable way to run my first 20 miler of the year.

In short: Excellent marathon training race, superbly organised
In full: Reading RR know how to organise a good race. Bramley 20 was really well organised, smooth, efficient and friendly. The race itself was a scenice 20 laps over a fast course. Would do this again for sure as a stand alone race as well as marathon prep.

In short: Nice marathon training run
In full: A nice 20 miler. It could have done with some energy drinks especially for the 2nd lap

In short: An excellent addition to any marathon training program
In full: A well organised event, although the baggage drop-off and collection was rather slow and a little chaotic. The course and marshalls were excellent, but I wish it was easier to tell the 10 milers from the 20 milers then maybe I wouldn't be tempted to chase them on the first lap. Mind you, can't complain too much this year after a 19 minute PB :)

In short: Friendly, fast, local race with cake
In full: My first time at Bramley and I'll definitely be back. Highlights: good organisation, the slendid array of cake and sandwiches, the atmosphere. All the marshalls were encouraging. Loos were inadequate for the numbers. I waited 20 mins, so started late. Not a big deal with chip timing, I suppose. Parking was plentiful and the weather was just right. Thanks to the organisers and to the school- what a lot of work went into preparing the school for us. Final mention to the announcer, who was sometimes un-pc, but all the better for it.

In short: Excellent pre London preparation. Well marshalled, quiet roads.
In full: Second lap easier than I thought as you knew who was in for the 'long haul' by that stage and I found a briliant Andover runner to keep me going (thanks Jon). Lots of club runners, but still a friendly feel to the race. I had no problems with baggage, toilets, drinks stations etc, all seemed fairly efficient. I did notice the lack of sports drinks enroute, but no big deal.

In short: A great race event.
In full: Apart from racing the 10 milers for the first half ( school boy error ). I paid dearly in second 10 but still scrapped a PB.
