In short: A beautiful run through the beautiful Chilterns
In full: Being a local girl and in love with the hills, I can't think of anything better... no PB potential but that's part of what makes it special; it's just a lovely run up and down some hills! Excellent marshalling and lots of water stations - very welcome in the sunshine. Thank you everyone who gave their time to organise this. I had a lovely morning.

In short: A very nice Half Marathon, I would recommend to anyone!
In full: Great village atmos, with friendly smiling marshalls, although pay no attention when they say "All down hill from here" as there are a few steep ones. One of the best runs around!

In short: Fantastic races in glorious surroundings
In full: Did the hm last year, but opted for 10k this year.

Everything about this race is great - scenery, organisation, choice of distance, marshalling, number of water stations, size of the hills(!), free hotdog after the finish. What more could you possibly want?

In short: Probably one of my favourite races
In full: Great marshalling, well sign posted and lots of water stations. It really is a beautiful route through the forest. A good one for beginners as everyone is so friendly.

In short: Great scenary, good weather, well organised / marshalled
In full: HM was a real antedote to the big town / city races. Hills were certainly challenging, but removed any notion of pbs or even pacing - so could just concentrate on more important matters

In short: undulating multi terrain 10k or hm. One steep hill and couple of challenging climbss
In full: part of our club championship so around 15 marlow runners made their way to this event, split between the 10k and half.

Luckily opted for the 10k as one particular real tough climb at around 9k would have called for incredibly strong mental strength to get up again!!

Some challenging climbs, backed uy the other side of the coin, some nice downhills.
Multiterrain is definitely a fair description, with tarmac on roads, combined with mud trails, and also unstable rocky white gravel?!
Made for an enjoyable trip out, with the hot weather just about holding off!

In short: Friendly and scenic, but tough
In full: Very scenic and well-marshalled with some difficult hills (plus added mud this year). The start was 'informal', i.e. a prayer then "have we started?", but it all adds to the charm.

In short: fantastic race: great marshals, beautiful scenery and a real community atmosphere
In full: Muddiest of the three times I've done this one after the wet weather in the preceding week. But this is the kind of event that's uplifting every year. It has a great vibe, a varied course and wonderful scenery. Easily my favourite half for sheer enjoyment.
