In short: Good course, good value for money. In full: At £13 I think this is a bargain. Chip timing and road closures both cost money, so fair play to the organisers for this good price. Good medal too. Not 'the best' 10k I have done, but those I would rank above this all cost more. Good PB potential too. Just like Arnie, I'll be back! Date of review: October 17, 2016
In short: friendly, well supported rural race, looking forward to doing again :D In full: my first time at this event, but thoroughly enjoyed it. a good no of supporters given the small, rural nature of the race. markers every mile, enough undulations to keep you interested and even perfect weather! looking forward to returning next year :D Date of review: March 13, 2010
In short: friendly undulating country fun In full: Thoroughly enjoyed this 10k. Great friendly atmosphere, well organised, nice medal. Quite a few undulations but broke a long standing PB so very happy. Date of review: March 8, 2010
In short: Lovely day and a very pleasant race In full: My first event of the year and has got me in the mood for more. Enjoyed it - great weather and seemingly well organised. Only saw 3 markers at 3, 5 and 6 miles. Would have been good to have had a few more.
There were some moderate hills to contend with but nothing too bad. Rural and pretty much traffic free. Date of review: March 8, 2010
