In short: Great race really enjoyed it
In full: In the week leading up to the race, I almost had to pull out due to injury. The organisers were really helpful and friendly and were flexible in that whilst they couldn't offer a refund they said they could roll my entry over to next year.
The race itself was great, awesome PB potential (even for me with a bad knee) Marshalls were good, finish had a good atmosphere, only other thing would it would have been good to see some photos, maybe at the finish line, but there wasn't anything like that.
Would definitely do it again

In short: Great run, gorgeous day, free pint glass- well worth it!
In full: Last year I entered London Pride 10k thinking it was sponsored by the beer, didn't realise it was a Lesbi-gay event. Still did it courrse but when this came along I was thrilled there was an actual run sponsored by Fullers London pride! And that it was an easy mistake to make.
Hadn't done a 10 mile before so great to do a new distance, the weather was lovely (if a bit too hot!), scenery beautiful along the river with footpaths and not too much of the same scenery as only doubled back once.
Well organised and I loved the free pint glass which was a commemorative one ie didn't just looked like you'd nicked it from the pub. Definitely do again.

In short: Good pre-London race - predominantly scenic route
In full: Really well organised event for all standards with a friendly atmosphere. Great run out ahead of London Marathon or an opportunity to run a PB on a mainly flat course. All helped by great weather for a jaunt by the river.

Marshalls were some of the most enthusiastic and encouraging I have come across. Great job.

Only slight dampener was the occasional cyclist on the towpath seemingly intent on wiping out a runner or two. Didn't spoil it though.

In short: Great, flat, scenic 10 miler
In full: My first 10 mile race, liked the initial 2 laps around the playing fields which means the pack has spread out by the time you hit the towpaths.
Very flat, lovely to run along side the river altho have to be a bit careful of your footing when on the towpaths as the ground is breaking up.
Also enjoyed the steps up onto Richmond Bridge!
All in all, great race.

In short: Well organised enjoyable flat race
In full: Bit warm for me, but the race was well organised and the marshalls were very encouraging.

Some of the towpath was a bit uneven and narrow due to repairs, but it was great running along the river on a sunny day.

This is a flat race which is welcoming to all abilities. Really enjoyable running along the river.

The pint glass was a nice touch and the water stations were very welcome!

I would defintely recommend this race and I will be back next year.

In short: Something for all abilities...
In full: An extremely well organised event, well staffed by very supportive marshals and suitable for a wide range of abilities.
The Thames towpath was a lovely place to be on this clear sunny morning although it was a little uneven underfoot in places.
One of the best moments was the lady offering jelly babies at 7.5 miles on Kew Green, but the good race HQ facilities, text messaging of results and the pint glass memento were all nice touches.
Top marks to the West 4 Harriers, this will be one for my calendar in 2011.
