In short: tough course
In full: First time for me this race, not the multiterrain course i was expecting, more of a road race. Hard hills, dissapointed with the mug, marshalls were great and the weather was a scorcher. Would I do it again I doubt it, Im moving to norfolk in 2 weeks where its quite flat. Lovely

In short: Very tough but very enjoyable
In full: The course was very tough but the marshalls were fantastic and encouraged you all the way round. The run to the obilisk was too hard to run all the way up and I had to walk (it would be even harder in muddy conditions) but overall it was very enjoyable. The goody bag could have been better after all that effort

In short: Top race. Memorable for the silly hills but some speedy bits.
In full: Very tough race over an unusual distance (a 14km PB for me was guaranteed!). Marshalling excellent and encouraging and I didn't have a problem with the water stations. A couple of the hills were just plain daft in that heat, and walking was the only option.
Agree that the goody bag was a bit of a disappointment. Was there supposed to be a medal?

In short: Challenging undulating course
In full: A very difficult race for me on what was probably the hottest day of the year. A varied course with some really testing hilly bits.Marshalls were friendly and encouraging. I agree with much of Supertomo's comments. The lack of cups at the first water station was very disappointing and worrying on such a hot day.

In short: Challenging course
In full: Congratulations to everyone who completed the Cobra today. It was so hot and the hills seemed so steep at times, especially the last 2km. Fantastic views in places especially from the obelisk and the marshalls were a constant encouragement.
I did take a great sense of achievement from the race itself but I have to be honest, I was very disappointed with the 'unique commemorative award'. This turned out to be a mug! But not just a mug, a 2007 Cobra Classic mug with a sticker over the date. I may be on my own here but I would much rather pay a little extra and get a decent reward. It's not too much to ask is it?
The lack of water throughout the race (first water station was a joke) and at the end was also a big negative. Would it cost so much for some bottles?
Aside from the above gripes this was a really testing run in difficult conditions which I'm ultimately proud of participating in and completing. With a few little tweaks this race could really be a classic!

In short: Tough suburban hills in the heat!
In full: A fantastic challenging race - one to take us all out of our comfort zones for sure. Suburban course with very steep hills in blazing hot sun was a real test - it would have been easier if it had all been XC but where would the challenge have been!

In short: The Classic is a classic!
In full: Something for everyone. Whether 'going for it' with the 14K multiterrain, or the 4K fun run, the welcome from the Cobra club is brilliant.
