In short: good but could be better
In full: Started well nice atmosphere but at the front of the race the marshals were non communicative and there was not enough signs saying TURN , me and another runner took a wrong turn as a consequence of this. The finish was fast and furious and the souvenir was nice but could have been better overall.

In short: lovely friendly race
In full: A really nice route, bit of everything - road, fields, woods and of course moor. Nothing too steep, and a great fast couple of miles at the end. A really scenic route, and very well organised. Would recommend to all, including those not so experienced off road.

In short: A well organised arce....and tough.
In full: I really enjoyed this run. The organisation was fine, with supportive marshals all the way round and good support at the finish. The route itself was a long upward run out, through the wood and over moors, which afforded fantastic views of Ilkley and the surrounding area. The finish was quick and quite a relief after the first 4 miles. This is a tough run but one that is extremely enjoyable. I would love to do it again, thank you Ilkley.

In short: Great, no frills trail run
In full: I really enjoyed this. A very scenic trail run on good trails and tracks, great views from the moor at the top. The last 3 miles are all down hill making for a fast finish. The organisation was very good and a 'diamond jubilee' mug was a nice memento of a cracking event. I had a 220 mile round trip for this, but will hopefully be back next year. Thanks to Ilkley Harriers!

In short: Fabulous trail race
In full: A brilliant race, uphill start, nearly all off road and the views once on to the moors were stunning. Not even really spoilt by the rain but I imagine it might have been hard work in the heat. Lovely bag as a momento, very well organised & friendly & encouraging marshalls around the route. Not a fast course but brilliant, what running should be about

In short: Worth a long trip in the rain!
In full: Good little race despite the rain. Well organised with excellent and numerous marshalls. Testing but not extreme so very suitable for beginners on the fells.

In short: Fantastic scenery that almost makes you forget the hills
In full: This is a fantastic place to be running. Uphill on the way out but not too steep. Fast and furious on the way back. Glorious weather in 2010. Could be a bit more interesting in bad weather!
