In short: Up to the usual high standards. Even the rain couldn't dampen the spirit.
In full: Great race, will be back again next year whatever condition I'm in. Very friendly and things to keep the family happy too.

Only room for improvement is that the rules on prize allocation need to be cleared up as it's not usual for one person to get multiple prizes.

In short: Fantastic event, really friendly and well organised. Touches like the timex clocks and the bagbus (with the most enthusiastic guy you could ever meet)will make this race a dead cert in my calender for next year.
In full: Fantastic event, really friendly and well organised. Touches like the timex clocks and the bagbus (with the most enthusiastic guy you could ever meet)will make this race a dead cert in my calender for next year. The course is scenic, not really PB material (although I did get one!)but it's not all about flat fast courses.

In short: Great race, wonderful organisation and scenery but no place for a PB - too many undulations!
In full: Perfect weather for running a fast time, cool, damp and no wind. Not so good for spectators though. The couse seemed to undulate continuously with no extended spell on the flat so a PB would be unlikely. Nice goody bag at the end too. Recommended

In short: Fantastic, brilliant organisation, friendly
In full: Ran for the first time last year and had to do it again. Fantastic, brilliant organisation, friendly. Well worth the 120 mile round trip from Newark. I'll be back. Have been running 6-10 races a year for 25 years, after giving up first class rugby due to injury, and this is the best.
